We have been in Springers since 1974. The focus of our breeding program is soundness of mind and body. Our dogs are raised in our home as members of our family. We live in Amissville, Virginia on 10 wooded acres and have secure, fenced play yards for our dogs. We have no kennel runs on the property.
Before any of our dogs are bred, they receive OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) clearances for soundness of: eyes, hips, patellas, heart, thyroid and elbows. We eye test all adults annually and test all puppies prior to sale. We also microchip all puppies prior to sale using the AKC Recovery Chip.
A copy of their eye exam and vet check is included in their puppy packet. Our dogs are not bred until they are at least 2+ years of age. They are shown in Conformation, Rally, and Obedience and most are Therapy dogs. Our dogs are pretty to look at, as well as a joy to live with and a pleasure to train.
